Total cost depends on group size, pickup location, and travel date. Quotes are provided upon request and can include an itemized breakdown if needed. Some tours may offer shared group transport at a lower rate.

Government taxes (VAT, 13%) are not included in listed prices unless otherwise stated.​

Booking, Payment & Cancellations​

For transfer and guide services, payment is due at the end of service. Cash is preferred, though PayPal and Venmo are accepted with a small processing fee.

• Cancellations within 48 hours operate on the honor system — a small courtesy fee is appreciated.

• A booking deposit may be required for certain trips.

Booking deposits, payment methods, and cancellation terms vary by tour operator and will be confirmed before booking. If a tour is cancelled by the operator due to weather or safety, a full refund will be issued.

Most tours run rain or shine, though heavy rain may affect water clarity or visibility.

Other Information

Participants joining physically demanding activities such as rafting, surfing, rappelling, waterfall hikes, or kayaking should be in good physical and mental health, comfortable with water, and prepared for rugged terrain.

Some tours require a minimum group size; solo travelers can join existing groups when available or choose another option.

Paying with US dollars is recommended to avoid confusion over exchange rates or extra fees. Most ATMs in Costa Rica dispense USD.
